About the Role – Data Scientist:

As a Data Scientist at PepsiCo, you will be responsible for building and deploying machine learning models, automating ML pipelines, and supporting advanced analytics projects. You will work closely with data engineers and ML engineers to ensure scalable, reliable, and business-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver advanced analytics and ML projects within timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate with data engineers and ML engineers on scalable ML/AI solutions.
• Build and automate end-to-end ML pipelines using Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Work with big data tools (Spark, Databricks, etc.) for real-time and batch data processing.
• Deploy and monitor machine learning models, setting up alerts, dashboards, and troubleshooting systems.
• Use DevOps/MLOps best practices to streamline workflows.

Key Technical Skills:

Python, SQL, Machine Learning, Statistics, Azure/AWS/GCP, Databricks, Spark, Hive, Pig, GitHub, CI/CD, MLFlow, Kubeflow, ADF, DevOps, MLOps

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Data Science/Machine Learning.
• Strong expertise in Python and SQL.
• Good applied statistical knowledge including regression, distributions, and hypothesis testing.
• Experience with cloud-based ML solutions (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Hands-on experience with Spark, Databricks, and data pipeline automation.
• Familiarity with DevOps/MLOps frameworks (MLFlow, Kubeflow preferred).
• Knowledge of version control (GitHub) and CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
